Laryngeal Oral Airway - VE Medical is rated 5 out of 5.0 based on 3 ratings.
I have a very busy sinus and snoring practice in North Houston and regularly treat patients in office for complex nasal issues. The LOA has completely changed my efficiency, comfort and safety while performing hi volume in office procedures. Its advanced design allows maximal aeration with minimal stimulation allowing for a smooth sedation experience. Once you try the LOA, you and your anesthesia team will be sold on its advantages.April 19, 2022
“The LOA has really helped facilitate complicated in-office IV sedation cases. It is a quick and easy way to restore and maintain the airway when higher levels of anesthesia are required, allowing for the anesthesiologist to rapidly adapt to the requirements of the case.”October 14, 2021
"I'm an ENT Surgeon and we have been doing in-office sinus surgery using intravenous sedation for the last three years. The sedation is primarily propofol and Versed. The first two years we were using traditional oral airways. I was introduced to the LOA a little over a year ago. The advantages are that it has a port that connects the oxygen cannula firmly to the airway. From there, the 02 is blown down to the tip of the airway through channels in the airway where it delivers oxygen directly into the larynx and samples end tidal CO2. When I first started using it, the 7 anesthesiologists who have been helping all kind of raised their eyebrows and gave me a funny look like, "What is this?". There's not one of them who over the last year has not commented that, "These airways are really great. I didn't think there was much to them to start with but they work really well." In essence, the patient's are better saturated and the end tidal CO2 monitoring is much more accurate. I wouldn't do a case without them anymore.October 14, 2021
